Ticked Off and Tickled Pink: Jan. 12, 2021

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on January 12, 2021.

Ticked Off

That our political masters tell us how we have to make all these concessions as a result of COVID and yet they do the opposite, and if they get caught breaking their own rules they say sorry and move on.

Tickled Pink

You really thought that you fooled all your neighbors by hiding your guest’s vehicle in the garage on Christmas Day? The rules only apply to the rest of us, I guess.

Ticked Off

Local radio stations in Medicine Hat are just horrible.

Ticked Off

A politician, (finance minister of Ontario) resigns because of the uproar created by his travel abroad, during the global pandemic. Thankfully we can continue to pay him for the rest of his life, due to the lucrative pension all politicians receive.

Ticked Off

What young and forward thinking business, entrepreneur or start-up would invest in Alberta once they see and hear the highly conflicted messaging and policies of Jason Kenney and his UCP government? I live here and I want to run the other way.

Ticked Off

At all the government doublespeak the media is subtly airing.

Ticked Off

Rather than being empathetic, UCP MLA Michaela Glasgo’s official New Year’s Twitter posting was insensitive and braggadocious. Overlooking the lonely, the grieving and those financially strapped, she opted to dance in the limelight by celebrating her recent engagement, new home purchase and wedding plans.

Ticked Off

At the hypocrisy of UCP government members who chose to travel internationally while preaching the opposite message. Great to know MLA Aloha Allard didn’t have to miss her 17th annual Christmas trip to Hawaii while my kids haven’t seen their grandparents in months.

Ticked Off

With the retail clerks who won’t refuse service to unmasked customers.

Ticked Off

Aren’t we glad we voted in the UCP?

Ticked Off

UCP and their bloated publicly funded salaries sticking it in the faces of Albertans with their Christmas holidays during a pandemic. I’m totally not going to follow the health care rules now. Going to visit the family I haven’t seen in months instead.

Tickled Pink

If Donald Trump’s head was put on Mount Rushmore. It’s already the right size.

Ticked Off

Premier Kenney and his defiant colleagues rightfully deserve the current wrath of fellow Albertans. But, how does their misstep compare to Rachel Notley’s imposed carbon tax when it was not even mentioned in the campaign preceding her election?

Ticked Off

Ticked off at the ridiculous utility rates and billing procedures in Medicine Hat. Fees on top of fees, service charges on top of service charges, over-priced commodities, we should have the lowest rates in Alberta. It’s time to clean house at city hall, every elected official should be ashamed at the utility costs in this city, those that aren’t need to be thrown out next election.

Ticked Off

Ticked off with the old red half-ton with no muffler driving up and down 15th Ave. SE north of Dunmore Road.

Tickled Pink

If Jason Kenney would keep his promise, for once, and bring in the MLA recall legislation he promised during the election campaign. Put your money where your mouth is.
