Tickled Pink A little pill box sitting on the table noticed by a couple started a conversation. They then paid for my supper Friday evening. It is very much appreciated. Thank you very much and good health. Ticked Off If the city passed a bylaw it would help the stores enforce the mask crisis and the squawkers may go somewhere quiet. Also it may help keep our present council when we vote. Ticked Off That the city doesn’t follow its own bylaw when it comes to planting three trees for every one tree removed on it’s projects. Where is bylaw? Where is the city arborist? Two sets of rules? Ticked Off The new, virtual toy run receives a 75 per cent decrease in toy donations and is called, “a great success.” Tickled Pink A big thank-you to the young fellow that was working about the beginning of the September at King of the Road. He helped get my tire filled and showed me how to work my little air compressor. Ticked Off When are drivers in Redcliff going to get it in their heads that a school bus with its flashing reds activated and stop sign extended, means exactly that? It is not a suggestion. You must stop either 20 metres in front or 20 metres behind the bus. When are drivers in Redcliff going to get it in their heads? A “school bus zone” is exactly that. It is not for your convenience to drop your kids off instead of having them walk that little bit extra to the school gates. Ticked Off Ticked off that stores don’t enforce mask wearing. Are we waiting for more and more cases and deaths in Medicine Hat before doing this because just a few don’t really matter? Maybe if they were your loved ones you’d agree with wearing masks. Ticked Off Another beautiful valley ruined with bike trails in Redcliff. It looks like crap now, wild animals leaving, horses got kicked out, any other spot left here? Ticked Off Box Springs Blvd., (by Costco), needs to be totally redone instead of this bandaid project that’s being done. That is the worst paved road I have ever driven on. Ticked Off I want a COVID-19 test and have to wait for a few days. NHL players are tested countless times because millionaire hockey players are much more important than the rest of us. Ticked Off If Jason Kenney was a kid he would be the big bully on the playground towards kids with disabilities. Big bully! Ticked Off I wish our MLA would fight for Medicine Hat, specifically to keep the laundry at the hospital here instead of shipping it elsewhere, for myriad reasons, but even just for common sense. And secondly the portion of Highway 3 that should be twinned first is the portion between Medicine Hat and Bow Island, rather than Burdett to Taber. I haven’t heard one word from our MLA about standing up for the constituents of the riding he represents on these issues. Ticked Off Wearing a mask is no more a violation of a person’s rights or freedoms than having to wear a helmet on a bike or motorcycle, having to wear a seatbelt, speeding, or any other law to protect those that appear to not be smart enough to protect themselves or others. Ticked Off At the person who stole my Amazon package…I bet you didn’t know I have a door bell camera! Expect a knock on your door from the police! Ticked Off Can’t really feel sorry for businesses that don’t enforce masks when they are shut down again due to a rise in COVID-19. 32-31
