Letter: Life is a precious thing

Dear editor,

I had some interesting conversations recently. I have had them before. People thinking that having a mental illness is a tragedy.

Sunday, Mar. 1 was Disability Day of Mourning where there were vigils for those who have been killed by their families or caregivers because they are disabled.

It takes two hours to listen to all the names, but it is something I do every year.

Life is a precious thing.
