Letter: Council should be applauded for holding mayor to account

Dear editor,

The rabble in our midst would have us believe all chance of valour has gone beyond recall or desire.

Nothing could be further from the truth – the city council of Medicine Hat showed us that common sense still prevails, that the practice of public behaviour, manners and a polite society still prevails.

Council has demonstrated as a whole that they do indeed possess the intestinal fortitude and are capable of doing the proper thing even when it is difficult and uncomfortable.

I for one applaud your decision with regards to the the mayor’s behaviour in public office and support you 100%.
