Letter: Reflecting on Good Friday

Dear editor,

Just reflecting back on the Good Friday service at the Cypress Centre. It was a packed building with so many people in unity, all there for with one purpose.

The main theme of the preaching was bringing people together with only one focus on Jesus.

Very nice to be in a crowd like that after the worst of COVID seems to be over, and dusting off all the conspiracy theories that came with it. Some conspiracy theories are being designed by A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) which transform the belief system of millions of people in a matter of seconds.

Also in the now, the global prayer house is hosting a 40-day prayer rally 24/7, hopefully it will help stabilize our city, province and country, and most of all bring people back together again under one umbrella. Good things are happening in Medicine Hat!

Like the Bible says – Isaiah 8:11-14

11 This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people:

12 “Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.

13 The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.
