Letter: A candle to brighten the day

In response to Kathleen Beierbach’s July 19 letter to the editor.

Dear editor,

Ms. Beierbach, that was such an inspirational letter… the best I’ve read for some time. I would like you to know that I and many others fully agree with you, in every thing you wrote.

“If everyone lit just one little candle… what a bright world it would be.”

Unfortunately, there are way too many folks who either claim they can’t find those little candles, and if they come across one, are not of the attitude like you, Kathleen; able and anxious to light them. But, as is said, love and kindness will eventually prevail… as long as folks like you keep on finding those little candles and do with them as everyone should, at every opportunity… and those opportunities are all around us. Thank you very much for writing that ‘letter’.
