Letter: We need to take things day by day

By Letter to the Editor on September 29, 2021.

It is scary in Alberta right now. Our health system is near collapse and people are worried about their families. Some families still disagree about getting vaccinated.

We need to take a breath and take things day by day, and hour by hour. Concentrate on what is important for you. What makes you calm and brings you peace. You don’t have to solve Alberta’s problems, get through your own day. Help your friends and your neighbour if you can.

Personally, I go to church, stay home a lot and listen to the radio.

The biggest problem my senior friends, including retired doctors and nurse, and I see is how are we going to keep doctors and nurse in this province from leaving when Albertans have shown them they don’t care how they are being treated.
It was just plain stupid to try to elect Reformer Erin O’Toole when he has had nothing but praise for the way his Reform Party pal Jason Kenney has treated our doctors and nurses.
Siding with their enemy was not a smart move.
