For centuries we have prided ourselves in our system of jurisprudence whereby citizens charged under the law were presumed innocent until proven guilty. The compulsory stop and blow breathalyzer regimen turns that premise on its head. We are now presumed guilty until we prove our innocence. While perhaps well intentioned, in my view this Orwellian legislation should be rescinded forthwith. Val T. Felesky Medicine Hat 6
