Will city make public land sale financials?

Medicine Hat’s city administration has grown to such an unwieldy size that one department has no idea what another is working on. Now bear in mind I am referring to the highly paid suits, not the folks with jackhammers and packers or the poor soul who is constantly attempting to sequence the Dunmore Road lights. In Friday’s issue of the Medicine Hat News there is a large advertisement crowing about the effectiveness of the city administration’s Riverside project of listening when the residents talk. There was also a smaller article of the city administration bullying the residents of Connaught in the interests of possibly maybe making money at the direction of senior administration. Will the residents of Medicine Hat see the financial accounting from the sale of Connaught land for which the city has already invested close to half a million dollars or will the bureaucrats hide behind the privacy of dealing with private sector developers, dare I say again?
