I am really upset with Danielle Smith’s actions regarding MAiD, she needs leave me the freedom to make my own decisions relating to my own body. Control of my body is between my family, doctor and myself, not the government or a religious organization.

Lesson learned no more streets like Division Avenue narrowing. Sat through three songs waiting for pickup to get both lanes clear so it could pull out. This isn’t Toronto with a bunch of little cars. And we have the room. You want to slow traffic? Put a cop out. Don’t punish all of us.

With province’s archaic view of medically assisted dying. With state of health care no one is likely to die within a year. Now you condemn them to suffering for years. We take better, more responsible care of our aging dogs than we do of our seniors.

That a recent comment was made about not being able to sing the national anthem anymore. How incredibly entitled you sound. Try living in a third-world country for a few months and tell us again how Canada is “no longer free.” The whining and complaining is getting tiresome.

I would be if I could tell my credit card company I’m going to run a deficit for the next 10 years and then my budget will balance itself. I could use some help explaining that, Mr. Carney.

If there is any industry in the world that is not suffering financially, it is munitions production. Yet, we are going to borrow $1.4 billion to subsidize them in Ontario and Quebec. Think of that money going to build hospitals instead.

Well, the UCP has decided to torment yet another marginalized group. When are they gonna quit picking on people ill equipped to stand up for themselves? MAiD was well deliberated into law 10 years ago across Canada and now Smith thinks she knows better? Crazy.

Donald Trump, master of deception, has managed to convince MAGA illiterates in the U.S. to back him in attacking a country, destroying and killing its people under dubious circumstances and spending huge amounts of money needlessly that someday will need to be paid back.

The fact oil companies in Alberta can make money in oil and gas and not pay taxes makes me suspect there is corruption. If you are in the industry and didn’t pay taxes and start another company, you should still be liable.

I would love to see our school districts be more mindful about limiting students’ time on the Chromebooks. My kids in the public district spend a lot of time on them. I know it saves paper and helps with classroom management, but we need to think about saving our kids’ executive thinking skills.

The Alberta government’s interference AISH and MAiD demonstrates how insensitive this regime really is. It is very sad that these issues need to be addressed. They really don’t need to be addressed.

Would be if my condo management company had their wages withheld until they collect all outstanding condo fees from derelict owners. Probably see some action then.

We should get the province to ask in the referendum how many of us would leave Alberta if we separated. Lots of lost taxes.

NHL player safety needs much needed updating. When consistently a player intentionally takes out an opposing player, that dirty player with multiple infractions needs to be suspended until injured opposing player is back on the ice able to play. I promise you the offender will get the point. Gary Bettman needs to go, his era has long been over.

That our country has dropped to 25th in 2026, from 18th in 2025 and 5th in 2014, on a worldwide happiness measure.

I was in Walmart resting on my walker when an older woman asked me if she could get me a coffee. This kindness restored my faith in humanity. I was feeling the whole world was getting selfish and mean.

Why does the provincial government think Albertans are stupid? If your lips are moving, you’re lying. Smith has a failing grade in all she touches, as it is simply a distraction from her hidden agenda. We see right through you and your party. Try writing the premier a letter, you get a generic response. Shame on her.

Wondering what the premier is doing with the $200 monthly federal benefit she’s clawed back from AISH payments. Roughly $16 million monthly skimmed off the backs of AISH recipients. Where has that money gone?

Another capital punishment in Florida by lethal injection described as “convulsing violent involuntary movements” prior to death, yet in Canada, MAiD is described as “beautiful,” “peaceful,” even “romantic.” What are they doing wrong in Florida? (Editor’s note: Just about everything.)

Danielle Smith with national intelligence security information is a scary thing. I don’t think any federal party would be in favour of that idea.

With our police service, who work diligently for the citizens of Medicine Hat. Sorry there are a select few who bash our members, they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. A thankless job trying to please so many. Keep up the good work!

I am sure people who want to end their lives do not take the decision lightly. Why does the Alberta government think they have to interfere in these people’s choice” The mechanism for them to do so already exists. Let them.

Are you kidding, Smith? I certainly don’t support your underhanded motivation for seeking control of judges, nor your separation rhetoric. Your party has gone off the deep end. As for CSIS clearance, can you say, “no chance”?

Using mosquitoes to deliver vaccines to bats to protect them from acquiring and spreading rabies, Ebola, certain corona viruses and more is fascinating. Perhaps they can add the vaccine for measles to these mosquitoes so we can vaccinate the human population by just sitting outdoors.
