The amount of dog poop on the green space between Spruce Way and Stark Way is absolutely disgusting. What is the mental reasoning that this is OK? Do you just look the other way and pretend it is not happening, or are you lazy? Seriously, people, you have a dog, take bags and pick it up. If you don’t have a bag, leave a marker and go back, super easy.

You’d think adults would have good sense, in general. Wishful thinking, simple acts of kindness go a lot further than self righteousness. It takes little effort to be a decent human being.

With scammers. Sad to see them rip people off, especially seniors. A tip to share, have a password with your family, grandchildren and your bank. It’s a great way to protect yourself. Don’t answer numbers you don’t know, if it’s important they will leave a message, if it’s a scammer they won’t. If they want money, tell them to meet you at the police station. A protected password is a an effective preventative tool.

I am always astounded at the hatred toward the federal Liberals. It was Justin Trudeau who got a pipeline completed. It was hardly recognized. Mark Carney is working at getting another built. Steven Harper didn’t. Redford didn’t, Kenney didn’t and Smith has done little to improve the lives of Albertans. I will say though, she has accomplished the twinning of Highway 3, which was talked about for years. Sometimes credit is not given where it belongs.

I don’t think people realize what a negative influence separation would have on this province. I would move away and many other businesses would also. It would be an economic disaster. Negative effects would far outweigh any positives.

Canada already changed the border of the Northwest Territories. What would Alberta do if Canada changed Alberta’s borders and the tar sands became part of Saskatchewan? War?

With the seemingly dramatic increase in avian flu, the last thing we need is backyard hens. Medicine Hat is already full of irresponsible pet owners let’s not add a deadly disease to the mix. Take a page out of Lethbridge’s book and scrap the whole idea.

While it’s somewhat fascinating to supply AI a few tidbits of information and a picture to manipulate, people are frequently utilizing pictures that they themselves did not produce. I feel for the real artists among us who possess the ability to create portraits and imagery, at human speed. Their creations are often being stolen to provide AI something to work with.

The amount of donation money Drew Barnes received goes to show how much support he had. Clark won buy a sympathy vote.

Maybe our health system wouldn’t be so strained if people were healthy and took accountability for their body.

I would be tickled more than pink if some enterprising person would put a small grocery outlet in downtown Medicine Hat.

That $16,842.67 was spent on in-flight catering costs for Mark Carney’s trip from Ottawa to Washington, D.C. in May 2025. I have taken that flight. I didn’t realize the cost of a small bag of pretzels and a can of soft drink have gone up so much.

That the organization behind the recall for Premier Smith thinks they sent a message when they got barely a third of the number of signatures as there were votes for the other candidates in the election. Good to see the weaponizing of recall legislation is failing. And yet, I’m opposed to a lot of what the current government is doing.

Why in heavens name do the Western politicians, including Canada, say Israel has a right to defend itself when the Palestinians who are under occupation do not have the right to resist against Israeli oppression?

Now that oil is closer to $100 a barrel and a labour report shows migration to Alberta from all streams is declining significantly since 2024, Premier Smith, please stop gaslighting and deceiving us. Scapegoating immigrants is irresponsible, wrong and unjustified. Is all this for your political survival from the wrath of TBA and the separatists?
