I would be so happy to see fluoride put into our water, too. Edmonton and Calgary have it. We need it, too. Don’t know about you but I can’t afford those dentist bills anymore. I need those thousands of dollars for groceries, utilities, mortgage and insurance.

Alberta Premier needs her head examined if she thinks Albertans will separate. Smoke and mirrors. If you fall into this minimalist category, move.

That people say the Alberta Prosperity Party is so bad. I guarantee you have never been to a meeting. Please stop the lies and get informed. I will be surprised if this ever hits the paper seeing how only bashing Danielle Smith gets printed. (Editor’s note: First, grow up. No one is trying to sway your vote through a twice-a-week column with anonymous posting. Second, instead of using your comment to complain about air time, maybe use it to clarify some of the lies and misinformation you say exist.)

It is just loss after loss with Mark Carney. Remember when he said Pierre Poilievre would bow down to Trump? That was yet another lie by the Liberals. Carney could not possibly look weaker against the U.S. president, and he is losing every battle.

How can Danielle Smith profess to be a proud Canadian when she is working her tail off to separate? She would sell us down the creek with no paddle, in a heartbeat. Next election, folks. Please, please do better.

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve seen someone complain about people from Alberta wanting to separate in line with their pension, I would be rich enough to buy the land and separate it myself. Beginning to think this is more of a Boomer problem than a political one. (Editor’s note: Boomer? You mean like starting a sentence with “If I had a nickel…?)

We’ll all be much happier when Albertans no longer have to celebrate Canada Day. In fact, July 1 should be the day we separate. (Editor’s note: Pretty sure you don’t have to celebrate it now if you don’t want to.)

Bigger cities than Medicine Hat have moved to biweekly trash pickup. Wouldn’t this be a smart move to reduce spending?

As i read TOTP I hardly see any support support for our UPC government i wonder if medicine hat news is left wing or left wing trolls keep flooding your in box the UPC did win a majority. We would be better off keeping our tax money in Alberta not funding Ottawa’s crazy leftist agenda. (Editor’s note: We just have an innate bias against bar codes that no therapist has been able to remove yet. We’re working on it.)

Everyone was in an uproar about potential smell from proposed cannabis greenhouses a few years ago. When do they actually do air quality testing around the other toxic plants in our cities such as the tire plant, fiberglass plant, asphalt plants, fertilizer plants etc.? Maybe we’re all being poisoned and don’t even know it. Why doesn’t someone actually look into this and post the findings on a regular basis?

At those who vote yes for “rent control.” It always sounds nice. Cheap rent. Who wouldn’t want that? But it comes at a great cost. Money is mobile. If I can’t cover my costs in Medicine Hat because of fixed rents, I’ll just head somewhere else. Rent control has extremely damaging long-term effects. If you feel the need to help renters, do so directly. Rent control hurts everyone.

Ms. Smith just won’t stop. Instead of doing what she was elected to do, she seems to be determined to destroy Alberta. Lay off the police and pension talk. Stop wasting our dollars and improve our health services and education. I have never been so disillusioned with any other government as I am with this one. She has to go.

That our MP Glen Motz was one of the original Conservative members responsible for drafting their policies to form the Buffalo Party, which has been renamed the Republican Party of Alberta. Should he be part of our parliament? Separation is not what an MP should be considering. Be a Canadian first.
