Letter: A thank-you to the people in uniform who protect our city

Dear editor,

Myself and family appreciate all the officers in the police force in our city.

They protect homes and families. All officers put their lives in frontline danger to take care of people in this fair city. We respect all as they uniform up to a day’s work.

With all the heavy gear these people put on their bodies to protect us – myself, I see them as the brave soldiers were, to protect everyone. It makes one think what we would do, or be, without these brave police men and women.

I am sure the thought is there: “Will I make it home at the end of my shift to my family?”

Also to all firefighters, may God bless all and keep you all safe in his loving arms.
