The report stated Alberta’s jobless rate fell to 5.2 per cent in October and cited Jobs Minister Brian Jean’s statement that 14,000 more Alberta had full-time jobs compared to September 2021. In fact, Jean’s statement regarded the difference between October and the previous month, rather than one year earlier. The year-over-year difference for October was 103,000 more jobs. 6
