Tickled Pink That there were so many people wanting to help us when our battery died on us at the Costco gas station. Thanks to the young man who had the tools and helped change our battery. Nice to see friendly people out there. Tickled Pink With the resounding election results in favour of a young new mayor and six new councillors. All in all, six women! In my opinion, a change for openness, transparency, inclusion, fairness and a vote out for the Old Boys Club. Awesome! Tickled Pink No farmers/ranchers… No food. Ticked Off Why is a mask so hard to wear properly? It isn’t rocket technology we are dealing with. Tickled Pink Congratulations Linnsie Clark, awesome! Medicine Hat’s first female mayor. Ticked Off I realize street parking is first come first park, but when you have neighbours that don’t just utilize all the parking in front of their place, but all the parking at their neighbour’s, and the next neighbour’s as well, it is a bit much. Have some courtesy, park across the street instead. Allow your neighbours to have some parking, too. Tickled Pink I’m tickled pink that the municipal election is over and all the campaign material has been removed. Now you can actually see all the detour signs. Ticked Off The recent temporary closure of River Road points out the need to keep it for vehicle traffic. I can only state to city planners – discontinue any work to create the Waterfront Park. Downtown traffic flow and convenience depend on the open road. Tickled Pink I’m tickled pink with how the council candidates worked so well to pick up their signs after the election. But I suspect there’s a farmer in Saskatchewan who is not very happy about how many blew into his yard! Tickled Pink Congratulations to our new council. I hope that you will be honest and transparent, and that common sense will prevail and I hope that you will do what’s best for the city and the people. 21
