Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, Sept. 30

By Medicine Hat News Opinion on September 30, 2021.

Ticked Off

Wear your masks, get vaccinated, social distance and stay at home! Stop being so selfish!

Ticked Off

Surgeries have been cancelled again. We have to come together in this community and take COVID seriously. Look at what is happening to the nurses and doctors in our hospitals. Those of you who do not believe in getting vaccinated, that is fine, but please stay away from our hospitals when you do get COVID and don’t take up spaces for those who really need it. Jason Kenney, get off your hump and do something!

Tickled Pink

A big thank-you to whomever left the decorative pumpkins on my porch. Bless you.

Ticked Off

On Saturday afternoon, I was driving south on 13th Avenue SE and when I came to the intersection with Trans-Canada Way, I noticed a herd of donkeys standing by the side of the road. They did not have long pointed ears but were holding signs that displayed their ignorance and stubbornness. There were no indications of discharged excrement but you could tell they were full of it. One piece of advice, if you contract COVID, take a spoonful of Buckley’s and stay away from the hospital.

Ticked Off

Ticked off at food store customers not masking up. But the stores don’t enforce this health bylaw because food stores are essential services, and cannot refuse service to anyone. Somehow a dress shop is different, and require masks. When’s the election?

Ticked Off

Here we go again… all you back-pack blower idiots who think that blowing your leaves onto the road is cleaning up the neighbourhood, think again. Sending them to your neighbour is pathetic. Bylaw should be called on every one of you, contracted or home owner… sick of it.

Tickled Pink

Tickled pink NHL hockey is back. To bad we only get Alberta games. But we get a cable discount, right?

Ticked Off

I have never been so ashamed to be an Albertan than now. I always thought we were a progressive bunch. I thought everyone would try to do their part to make Alberta a place to be proud of. Man was I wrong.

Ticked Off

I used to feel welcome at the food bank. Now I feel like I’m begging for some help. I’m afraid to complain in case they won’t help at all. What happened? Is this how this community wants to treat its neighbours during these tough times?

Tickled Pink

The best clerk works at Safeway at mall, she’s always got a smile and remembers customers over the years!

Ticked Off

If the MHPS wanted to make a fortune in writing tickets, start tagging people for not using their signal lights when turning. This is the worst city that I have ever seen for that.

Ticked Off

The SARS Cov 2 “vaccine” is the first product in history whose failure is blamed on people who don’t use it.

Tickled Pink

I’ll be tickled pink if this message helps just one person. Check your credit card statements for charges or fees. There might be services you may not have signed up for like Balance Protection or some type of insurance. If you didn’t sign up for these services, your credit card company may owe you money. I recently questioned an item on my statement and after an investigation I got a nice chunk of my money back plus interest from over 10 years of unnecessary service charges. Hope this helps someone out there.
