Letter: A job review of Justin Trudeau heading into September’s ‘snap election’

By Letter to the Editor on August 27, 2021.

Dear editor,

With the “snap election” coming up in September, I thought like any good employer (and yes, I am one of his many Canadian employers), I’d do a job review to see if I’d want to rehire Justin Trudeau.

Here we go:

– You blew the Asia Pacific deal.

– You blew the helicopter deal with the Philippines.

– You blew the pipeline deal (he’s now trying to save himself from it).

– You blew the deal with China.

– You blew the deal with Europe.

– You invited “irregular” immigration and the taxpayer foots the enormous bill for it.

– You alienated the U.S., our largest trading partner.

– You imposed tough regulations and taxes on oil from Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Newfoundland but not on oil from Saudi Arabia.

– Every new project has to undergo strict environmental assessments…except cement plants in Quebec.

– You forgot Alberta was a province.

– You called small business owners “tax cheats.”

– You elbowed a female MP while dragging another MP by the arm in a petulant huff.

– You got India to invest $250 million in Canada but we had to invest $750 million in India first.

– You compared returning ISIS terrorists to Italian immigrants and said they will be an extraordinarily powerful voice for Canada.

– You let terrorists keep their Canadian citizenship.

I just edited out 42 other “infractions” only to keep this within the legal limits of personally trashing you!

What moral, functioning Canadian human could possibly justify rehiring you?

What a job… congrats, Justin… a true bonehead!

Bobbie Norman

What is the cost to Canadians of these Liberal policies?

It’s no secret that the Reformers mandate has always been to force Canadians into a lot more privatization especially our health care and education systems , while they look after their rich friends just like Erin O’Toole’s buddy Jason Kenney is doing here in Alberta.

It was Ralph Klein and Ed Stelmach who warned Albertans about Stephen Harper’s hidden agenda to destroy our Public Health Care system and they were right. In his 2012 budge Harper’s plan was to cut $36 billion off the provinces health care payments and it got him defeated.

Don’t forget Kenney and O’Toole are both former members of Harper’s Reform Party and O’Toole when first elected to the conservative leadership position made the mistake of promising to carry on where Harper left off by cutting health care payments to the provinces by $36 billion and scrape the CBC like Harper wanted to do.

As much as the conservatives in my world aren’t fans of Trudeau we trust him more than O’Toole . If he hadn’t been in power we doubt the provinces would have received the hand outs to help our people survive this pandemic. Jason Kenney hasn’t even agreed to the $10 per day day care fee help the Trudeau has created and other provinces are jumping on board.

That’s just the tip of the Liberal iceberg sinking Canadians and our economy.
