Dear editor, Times are what they are but could be worse. The pandemic seems to be entering its fourth wave. Our nurses are undervalued and are picketing. The smoke from the forest fires makes me carry my inhaler everywhere. The drug overdoses have reached an all time high. To me however, I am always surprised more people don’t commit suicide or die from drug overdoses. I know good people are working overtime to prevent that. I know that I pray to a God that keeps me here on this earth to struggle day to day. I think if we take it day by day, we can all make it through to the next day together. Let’s give it a shot, shall we. Diane MacNaughton Redcliff 7
