Ethics issue also surrounds Shandro

There’s another issue with the Shandro controversy that nobody is addressing. Premier Kenney said he was personally vetting all candidates before they were eligible to have their name on the UCP ticket. So Kenney had to know about Shandro’s ties to Vital Partners Inc. and that is not the issue for Shandro to be a candidate. What is at issue is the fact that Kenney knew of Shandro’s involvement with a private health care provider and the Premier should have never made Shandro the health minister. And that is even more unethical if Kenney made Shandro the minister before he was cleared by the ethics commissioner. Even if Shandro was cleared by the ethics commissioner, politics is about perceptions and optics. I think it is obvious Kenney doesn’t care about either and once again we have a conservative government operating on privilege, arrogance, and self-interest. In the last election, people forgot why we voted the government of greed out in 2015. I will close with a quote I believe was from former Speaker David Carter:“To make a good cabinet, you need good wood and a skilled craftsman.” Sadly, I think Alberta’s government fits that quote perfectly; let’s not make the same mistake in 2023. Yawn. The same old handful of left wing kooks like yourself, writing the paper every week with your whiny drivel. We get it, you hate conservatives, have no life, and probably hate yourself too. Shame on the paper for indulging your weekly hate-fests too.
And Impala loves Liberals who pretend they are conservatives. Like Ralph Klein and Jason Kenney and some how that makes him a lot smarter than the rest of us. As my friends point out “How stupid is this guy”?
I’m betting he has never read this interview with Klein’s daughter Angie in 2015 when she confirmed what a Liberal her father was. But then we know these ignorant seniors can’t handle the truth, they aren’t man enough.
I think those of us who have a decent pension should insist that the Federal Government eliminate the Old Age Security for these ignorant seniors and cut their Canada Pension Plan payments in half so they can understand what there hero Kenney is doing to our doctors, nurses and teachers. Use their money to fight this mess we are in . Maybe then they will understand how it feels to be kicked around by these Reformers.
Why not that’s what their hero Kenney is doing, making teachers pay with their jobs while he gives his rich friends massive tax cuts and these fools fully support it. They have no respect for our doctors, nurses and teachers, that we can’t live without.
When Klein did it seniors told me he was a hero for getting rid of all those highly overpaid doctors, nurses and teachers and it cost some of the ones I knew their lives, thanks to the shortages he created.
