Congratulations to Elizabeth May on her environmentally friendly wedding. She lives what she preaches. I first heard of her years ago, when I lived in Halifax. As a recently graduated lawyer she was hired by an environmental organization to sue the Sidney Steel Corporation for pollution and she won. That victory earned her an instant reputation as an environmental advocate, which, I suppose, is what ultimately boosted her into the House of Commons. She has been “green” throughout her career. Even those of us who don’t agree with all of her politics would do well to follow her “Green” example, as much as we can, in caring for the earth. Charmaine Wood Irvine, Alta. 6
