Let’s just see if lives are saved

I think the problem with the disagreement over the supervised consumption site comes from how we see the clientele who will use the facility once it is operational.

If we see members of our community who are nice people using drugs, who need a safe place to do so, it is fine.

If we believe the propaganda put out by the failed war on drugs for the last countless decades, we will probably see it differently.

It is an emotional issue. Maybe we should just see if it saves some lives.
