I am 13 years old. I am addressing the medical marijuana greenhouse situation. I think this is a very noble choice. At first I had some concerns like impaired driving, the cost and if there would be other harmful drugs put into the marijuana. I then talked to my father and he told me, “this is a natural product; nothing else will be put into it; it is a pure substance.” It is important to talk about this to local people because not only will people who need medical marijuana be affected but their relatives and friends will be impacted. This will not only greatly increase the quality of the economy but also the lives of so many people with issues such as Tourette’s, seizures, spinal cord injuries and many more complicated disabilities. I think that medical marijuana should be sold for health reasons only. If the plan is to sell both recreational and medical marijuana then I am opposed to the project. This should be for medical purposes only and nothing else. It could ruin lives and possibly get people addicted to hardcore drugs. In conclusion, I think this is a superb project that will greatly improve the lives of so many individuals. The economy of Alberta will majorly increase from this. I feel that is is important to have a youth’s opinion on the matter. Serenity Heinz Medicine Hat 6
