Biblical prophecies have been fulfilled

By Letter to the Editor on February 23, 2018.

In reply to Dale Kosie’s “Prophecies ambiguous to the point of absurdity” I give him three crystal clear prophecies with their fulfillment:

1) Micah ch.5v2. “But you Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be the Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.” In Luke ch.2v4-7 you can read this prophecy given around 700 B.C. was literally fulfilled.

2) Around 518 B.C. the prophet Zechariah ch9v.9 wrote “Jesus would ride into Jerusalem as king riding on a colt the foal of a donkey.” Now read Mark.ch.11vs.1-3 and find it literally fulfilled. You might know the church celebrates this event every year on Palm Sunday.

3) Around 750 B.C. Isaiah prophesied: “One would come forth to prepare the way of the Lord.” In Matthew 3 vs.1-3 you can read the literal fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy.

Now I have another 35 prophecies that have been fulfilled which I could send you. Personally I find the fulfillment of prophecy one strong reason to believe in the Bible as God’s word

The Lord be with you.

It’s HILARIOUS that you think a fictional book reporting both prophecy and fulfillment chapters apart is proof of such mysticism. Actual facts and evidence would help, historical documentation outside of said fictional text. In other words, way to prove Dale Kosie’s point for them!
