Does unite-the-right movement in Alberta support Trump and friends?

By Letter to the Editor on August 21, 2017.

I am wondering if the “unite-the-right movement” in Canada and U.S. is same or different.

What happened in Charlottesville, Va., is shameful and must be condemned. Freedom to march is OK any where but showing your supremacy by taking the law in your own hand is an act of terrorism. The president of the U.S. should know and condemn white supremacist action. By his action he showed his link with white supremacists.

David Duke is his supporter and asking Trump to fulfill his promise to make America great and bring the country back to old time when slavery was legal, against immigrants, against Jews. Is this the U.S. or Canada we want?

Those who talk about Unite the Right in Canada, especially in Alberta, are they supporters of Trump and his action? Are they planning to go that far to unite the right as they have shown in the U.S. in this Virginia incident?

It is hard to know as to what is the agenda of unite- the-right people in Canada or Alberta. We have to bring the other groups together to oppose such moves. Sometimes action depends on perception and not facts.

Hope people will wake up before it is too late.
