LeRoy Wegner, beloved husband of Helen Wegner of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at the age of 94 years. LeRoy also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Russ Wegner and Carol Becker; his grandchildren, Marty (Heidi) Becker, Jody (Aaron) Oland, and Stacy (Jen) Wegner; his great-grandchildren, Tuftin, Bentley, Mia, and Meika; one sister, Marjorie Stromsmoe; one brother-in-law, Edward Maser; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. LeRoy was predeceased by his parents, Vernon and Emma Wegner; his son-in-law, Gerny Becker; and four sisters-in-law. LeRoy Wegner grew up in Ponderay, Alberta. He served in the army in WWII from 1942 to 1946. He married Helen Maser and they ranched in the Manyberries area until moving to The Wellington in Medicine Hat in the spring of 2011. A Private Family Time of Remembrance will be held. Lillian “Lil” Sylvia Fach of Medicine Hat passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the age of 77 years, beloved wife of the late Morley Fach. Mr. Peter John Phillip Kosi of Leader, Saskatchewan, passed away at the St. Joseph’s Home Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at the age of 82 years. Peter leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Paul and Dale; two great-grandsons, Damien and Loki; sisters, Mary (Pringle) and Mona Kosi; brothers Dennis, Mike, and Thomas Joseph Kosolofski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A private funeral service will be held for family at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating.
