Friends of Medicare hosting discussion on medication costs, national drug plan

Lowering the cost of medications for Canadians and achieving a national drug plan is to be the topic at a Friends of Medicare event in Medicine Hat on Nov. 7.

The guest speaker is the Alberta Friends of Medicare board chair Trudy Thomson.

The event starts at 7 p.m. in Room E171 at Medicine Hat College and is open for anyone to attend. There is free evening parking, a press release states.

There will be a brief AGM before the special presentation.
