The voice of Hank Williams hits Esplanade stage Feb. 22

The legendary Hank Williams will be resurrected on the Esplanade stage Feb. 22,

Hank Williams Live 1952 features accomplished professional actor and singer Joe Matheson, who has been dubbed “the quintessential voice of Hank Williams.”

The show starts with Matheson, as Hank, walking on stage and the band kicking into “Settin’ the Woods on Fire.” For the next two hours, the audience is treated to all of Hank Williams’ hits and an intimate, revealing evening with one of the legends of country music.

Matheson has starred as Hank Williams in The Show He Never Gave.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m., with tickets available at tixx.ca.
