Brooks Mounties are on the lookout for three suspects following an attempted break-and-enter at Hicks Jewellery store using a stolen pickup truck from Calgary.

RCMP were dispatched to Hicks Jewellery store at approximately 4:30 a.m. Monday and located an abandoned stolen black Ford F-150 which had driven into the front barred windows of the store.

After further investigation officers discovered three suspects seen fleeing the scene in a silver SUV with a burned-out headlight.

Police have released images of the three suspects, along with a photo of the crashed Ford F-150 and the Silver SUV believed to be used as an escape vehicle.

All three suspects appear to have their faces covered and two are wearing sunglasses to conceal their identities.

One suspect appears to be dressed in a dark hoodie, black Nike pants and wearing white shoes and is carrying a black plastic tote bin. Another is seen wearing a dark green winter jacket with a hood, blue jeans and skater-style shoes.

The image for the third suspect is blurry, however they appear to be wearing a black balaclava, dark winter jacket and black shoes, and carrying a backpack.

Mounties are seeking information from the public on the attempted burglary and are asking anyone with information to contact the Brooks detachment at 403-362-5535, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
