City crews were able to restore power to more than 150 affected customers in the Brier Park area within 45 minutes following a motor vehicle collision that caused damage to surrounding power infrastructure on Wednesday.
At approximately 9:45 a.m. witnesses reported seeing a truck collide with power poles behind a business located in the 1300 block of Brier Park Way NW, causing damage to power poles in the area.
Crews were quick on scene and were in contact with affected customers during the outage and were able to restore power to 158 customers by 10:30 a.m.
However, severe damage caused by the collision has left five customers in the area without service for an extended period of time while crews work to restore service.
