This Friday and Saturday, Tigers fans will once again be able to take advantage of a round-trip express transit service to Co-op Place from the Medicine Hat Mall bus stop.
The service is designed to provide fans an easy way to get to Co-op Place through the Tigers 2026 playoff run and will cost riders $5 for the round-trip.
Along with transportation the Co-op Place Express bus is also packed with Tigers fans and is known to be a fun experience before the puck drops.
“Taking the bus to Co-op Place is a chance to connect with like minded fans, and your experience can start the minute you get on that bus,” said Aaron Nelson, acting director of community development. “You don’t have to worry about parking, you can get in, get to the concession, get whatever you need and get to your seat with plenty of time for the game.”
The first shuttle bus will depart from the mall approximately one hour before puck drop, or around 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Additional buses will be provided for service, with the last departing the mall at approximately 6:45 p.m.
Following the game buses depart from Co-op Place within 30 minutes and return to the mall.
All parking is free at the mall during the game.
The city will provide the service throughout the Tigers playoff run and has already planned to offer transportation, if needed, for Game 5 on April 4 and Game 7 on April 7.
Tickets can be purchased online at Tixx.ca, or paid in cash on board. Users will also be accepted with existing bus passes, or the MHTgo! Card.
Nelson says the service also enables new transit riders to experience the local service for themselves.
“It is an excellent system to get you all over our city in a fast, efficient, clean and safe way,” adds Nelson.
The Tigers will host the Regina Pats on Friday at 7 p.m. for Game 1 of the WHL playoffs.
