Medicine Hat’s Team Miller competed at the 36th annual Ray Kingsmith Bonspiel this weekend.

The local curling team travelled to Airdrie and found early success, sweeping the round robin 4-0 to enter playoffs in first place.

Team Miller, featuring skip Ryker Miller, third Colby Sherwick, second Emmett Cook, lead Lyndon Sherwick and coach Terry DeValter, beat Team Bachek 8-5 in the semifinals before facing Team Stockdale in the finals.

They lost in the final, earning silver.
