Southern Alberta’s largest and longest-running agricultural trade show is returning Feb. 25-27 at the Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre.

Tickets went on sale Wednesday for the expo, which will feature more than 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest in agriculture equipment and technology.

In the heart of Canada’s premier food corridor, the Ag Expo merges state-of-the-art technology with the enduring spirit of hardworking farm culture to offer visitors a glimpse into the industry that beats at the heart of southern Alberta.

This year’s exhibitors include companies from six provinces and seven states and showcases products from six countries.

Highlights include the North American Seed Fair, one of the oldest seed fairs in Western Canada, and the ThinkAG Career Discovery Fair on Feb. 27, a hands-on career exploration event for students in Grade 8-12.

The show will fill 258,000 square feet of exhibit space inside the venue and outdoors in the south parking lot.

“We are thrilled with the interest in Ag Expo as this show just keeps increasing in size and popularity,” says Paul Kingsmith, director of event development for the expo’s producer, Excite Lethbridge.

“We are focused on ensuring exhibitors are bringing the newest and most relevant equipment and technologies to Ag Expo. As the industry grows and changes, we need to ensure our show is growing and changing with it, representing the very best of what the industry has to offer.”

General admission tickets are on sale for $18 until Feb. 23. After that, general admission will be $20 online and at the door.

Admission is free for children 11 and under, 4-H youth members and students at the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge Polytechnic.

The expo will run each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
