Boxing Club sends two fighters to Vancouver last weekend

The Medicine Hat Boxing Club was represented in Vancouver last weekend.

The local club sent Jacob Walne and Nate Vossler to B.C. for a pair of bouts.

Vossler lost what coach Kerry Fahlman called an unpopular split decision to Griffyn Gooch from Quintet Boxing in the open 69 kg. elite category.

Jacob Walne also lost his bout, losing a back and forth battle with Matvi Syrota from Quintet club in the 60 kg Open Junior C category.

The next action for the Boxing Club is Dec. 13 in Regina.
