The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was temporarily transformed into a fashion hub Saturday for the annual city-wide clothing giveaway.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the church gymnasium was filled with gently used toys, household goods and clothing of every size and style, as residents were able to pick up essentials for themselves and their children, or simply update their wardrobes ahead of the impending autumn and winter seasons.
Everything available was provided by members of the community, who dropped off clothing and goods that were no longer needed at the church the evening before. The various donations were then prepared for viewing by volunteers.
