Rising local country music star Morgan Klaiber will saddle up on some new horsepower as she hits the road for several performances across Western Canada this summer in a new truck and trailer gifted by Sun City Ford Wednesday afternoon.
The donation coincides with the dealership’s aim to support local talent, including Klaiber, whose recent album ‘Hardgrass Country’ was voted album of the year at the 2025 Country Music Alberta Awards.
Klaiber released the album last year in front of a hometown audience during a performance and release party at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre.
Sun City Ford collaborated with Lamb Ford Sales in Camrose to provide the country artist and her band the new set of wheels, which will take to the open road next week as Klaiber is set to perform at the Benalto Stampede before making an appearance at the world-famous Ranchman’s Cookhouse & Dancehall in Calgary for a performance with Ryan Lindsay during Stampede.
Following that, Klaiber will tour to Eastend, Sask., before performing during the Quonset Days Festival in Seven Persons on July 18.
Klaiber will then put on more miles as her band travels to Pollockville, then up the Alaska Highway to Fort St. John, B.C., before heading to Buffalo Lake and returning to Calgary in October for Stampede City Sessions.
