The 2025 Southern Alberta Summer Games are set for Taber this year, and the time has come to sign up to represent the City of Medicine Hat or Cypress County at this year’s festivities.

The Southern Alberta Summer Games are one of the longest standing recreational events in the region, says Jonah Carlsson, Cypress County’s regional director for the Summer Games.

“The Summer Games are a longstanding tradition for Alberta. It’s just a way to get all of the counties of southern Alberta together in a friendly competition with events for everybody of all ages,” said Carlsson.

The games feature many traditional track and field events, as well as activities such as golf, archery, motocross, badminton, beach volleyball and many others. There are even a few less sport-like choices, such as photography and cribbage, all part of the longest running annual sporting event in Alberta.

Registration is open now but closes June 5, says Carlsson. To register, those interested only need to visit southernalbertasummergames.ca and select their community of choice from the dropdown menu for instructions on how to sign up for their event of choice.

The point of the games is first and foremost participation and fun for all involved, says Carlsson, and as such, there is space for anyone regardless of age, background, or ability.

The games themselves will be in Taber from July 2-5, right after Canada Day.

Hello to everyone who plays CS2! I recently became interested in trading and stumbled upon a portal with a selection of websites. It was very helpful in figuring out where it is safe to trade and where it is better not to take risks. Convenient navigation, nothing superfluous. Now I feel more confident when making trades. My conclusion: CS2 trading platforms are safe if you know where to look.

I run a coaching program for entrepreneurs launching digital products in controversial markets — from personal development to adult education. Many of my clients are in gray zones, which meant my own payments often got caught up in risk filters from banks in Slovakia. That’s why I switched to https://billblend.io/high-risk-payment-processing-gateways/payment-gateway-in-slovakia/. They not only accepted my business — they made it more efficient. I got access to recurring billing, smart fraud filters, and multi-channel payment options. Since the change, I’ve grown my coaching group by over 40%. Fewer payment failures mean higher retention and more referrals. The system adapts to how I run my business — and that’s something I couldn’t find anywhere else.
