Trio of Hat boxers show well on weekend card in Weyburn

The Medicine Hat Boxing Club was at a bout in Saskatchewan last weekend.

The local boxing club sent three fighters to a show in Weyburn, Sask, with two of the three fighters returning with a win.

Kade Steiger defeated Andrew Polomares from Weyburn by unanimous decision in the 42 kg Junior division.

Gavin Russell won by a split decision, defeating Benjamin Tibbs from United Winnipeg in the 44 kg Jr.B division. Jacob Walne was on the wrong side of a a split decision, losing to Kade Ruckaber from Queen City Regina in the Jr.C Open 60 kg division.
