The city’s proposed Transportation masterplan will be unveiled at two open houses in the coming week.
The plan, which guides city roadway maintenance and developments as well as trial network, was last updated in 2012, and a new draft version from city staff will fold in an new active transportation plan, covering cycling and alternative modes of getting around.
City planning staff will be on hand at the two open houses this week to go through the document and answer questions from the public.
Sessions will be held on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. at the Esplanade Studio Theatre, and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Medicine Hat College main entrance.
