Medicine Hat College hosting its popular Career Expo next week

Those looking to start with working lives, or possibly start fresh in a new career, are encouraged to visit Medicine Hat College this coming Wednesday for the annual Career Expo.

“Each year, we are excited to see the uptake of employers from several diverse industries at our Career Expo event,” said MHC student career services assistant, Shelly Drefs. “It is our pleasure to provide a venue to connect them with community members, as well as MHC students and alumni who are searching for employment.”

Taking place at the MHC main campus, attendees are welcome to drop in at any point from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year features 45-plus employers, providing information about their organizations, opportunities available and how to apply.

Some potential employers may even conduct on-the-spot interviews for those prepared with their resumes, said MHC.

Featured industries will include health care, business, trades, community services, security, financial, manufacturing and environmental sectors. Also in attendance will be local employment supports agencies, as well as educational services.
