Medicine Hat Public School Division is holding two open house expos later this month on consecutive days. The first will be at Crescent Heights High School where all public schools in the north part of Medicine Hat will be represented. The following day, Medicine Hat High School will be holding the second expo with all MHPSD schools in the south part of the city being represented.

“It will be a chance for families to come and look at any of the programs that we offer in any of our schools,” stated Corey Sadlemyer, associate superintendent of learning. “It’s both an opportunity to learn about our schools and for teachers to celebrate some of the hard work they’ve been doing.”

The expos are being held to provide an opportunity for all those interested to gain a better understanding of the limitless opportunities available within MHPSD. Key divisional supports and services will also have booths at both expos, including the Family School Liaison workers, the First Nation, Metis and Inuit team, My Place and Hug, the early learning team, as well as booths on all the new academies, including the much-anticipated hockey academy that will be running out of seven elementary and junior high schools starting in September.

Everybody is welcome, including all those who attend MHPSD schools, are interested in attending one of the schools or are simply curious to know what is happening in public education within Medicine Hat.
