The South Zone Jr High Athletic Association held its annual cross country meet on Wednesday.
Three local athletes finished in the top 10, with one winning gold.
Odin Jordet of Irvine took the gold medal in the boys U16 race with a time of 11:58:666. Kapri Coston of Irvine took ninth place in the girls U16 race. Zaide Kolody of Dr. Wilson took third in the Boys U14 race.
Irvine School also won the 3J school aggregate banner, their second in a row.
