The team opened the weekend with a 101-95 win against the King’s University Eagles. Cooper Ward and Ethan Robinson led the way offensively for the Rattlers, shooting 26 and 25 points respectively and each picking up seven rebounds. In Saturday’s win, the Rattlers beat the Concordia University Thunder 95-86. Ward again led the way offensively, with 38 points and six rebounds in the victory. The Rattlers women’s team lost 77-48 Friday against King’s University and was defeated 83-32 on Saturday by Concordia. Abrielle Watson led the way in Saturday’s game for the Rattlers with 12 points and four rebounds. The Rattlers men’s (5-1) and women’s (0-6) teams are on the road this weekend, facing the NAIT Ooks on Friday and the Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves on Saturday. Volleyball The Ratters men’s and women’s volleyball teams were on the road this weekend at King’s University on Friday and Concordia on Saturday. The men’s volleyball team dropped both games, losing in three sets Friday (16-25, 20-25, 19-25) and in four sets Saturday (25-20, 20-25, 21-25, 17-25). Nathan Chernik led the Rattlers with seven kills on Friday and added nine against Concordia on Saturday. The Rattlers women’s team split the weekend, losing in three sets Friday (11-25, 16-25, 14-25) against King’s and winning in three sets (25-20, 25-21, 25-22) Saturday against Concordia. Emily Berringer, Zaire Miller-Shackleton and Brooklyn Tkachuk each had three kills in MHC’s loss on Friday. Berringer led the way in Saturday’s win with 10 kills, Anica Haberstock and Montana Wright also each had eight kills. The Rattlers men’s (1-7) and women’s (2-6) volleyball teams are at home this weekend, hosting the NAIT Ooks on Friday and the Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves on Saturday. 14
