Blue Jays rookie Yesavage to start Game 6 of AL Championship Series against Mariners

SEATTLE — Toronto rookie Trey Yesavage will get the start for the Blue Jays in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series on Sunday at Rogers Centre.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider confirmed the news today during a pre-game media availability at T-Mobile Park before Game 5 against the Seattle Mariners.
Yesavage is 1-1 with a 4.82 earned-run average in two post-season starts.
The September call-up impressed in three big-league starts before throwing 5 1/3 no-hit innings with 11 strikeouts in a 13-7 win over New York in Game 2 of the AL Division Series.
In Game 2 of the ALCS, Yesavage allowed five earned runs over four innings in a 10-3 loss to Seattle.
The Mariners have yet to name their Game 6 starter. If the series goes the distance, Game 7 will be played Monday in Toronto.
