LANGLEY, B.C. — Will Sharpe’s second goal of the game, scored 29 seconds into overtime, lifted the visiting Kelowna Rockets to a 4-3 Western Hockey League victory over the Vancouver Giants at Langley Events Centre on Friday.

Hiroki Gojsic and Dawson Gerwing also scored for the Rockets (17-33-4-2), who took a 3-1 lead into the third period.

Tyus Sparks, Tyler Thorpe and Colton Roberts scored for the Giants (28-21-7-0), who outshot the visitors 29-22.

The Rockets went 1-for-4 on the power play while the Giants were 0-for-3.

Vancouver beat the Rockets 5-1 on Friday in Kelowna.

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Terrell Goldsmith’s goal late in the second period stood up as the winner as the Tri-City Americans edged the visiting Spokane Chiefs 4-2.
