SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. – Andrew Gibson knocked in the game-winning goal at 17:20 of the second period as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds edged the Ottawa 67’s 3-2 Noel Nordh and Brady Martin also scored for Sault Ste. Marie, while Matthew Mayich and Zach Houben replied for Ottawa. Greyhounds netminder Landon Miller saved 30 of 32 shots, while Jaeden Nelson made 20 saves in the Ottawa net. ___ RANGERS 6 OTTERS 2 KITCHENER – Matthew Hlacar notched two goals as the Kitchener Rangers downed the Erie Otters. Andrew Vermeulen, Adrian Misaljevic, Trent Swick and Luke Ellinas also scored for Kitchener, while Malcolm Spence and Gabriel Frasca tallied for Erie. Otters goaltender Charlie Burns saved 23 of 29 shots. ___ ICEDOGS 4 STING 3 SARNIA – Andrew Wycisk knocked in the game-winning goal at 17:19 of the third period as the Icedogs edged the Sting. Ryan Roobroeck, Andrei Loshko and Noah Van Vliet also scored for Niagara. Tyson Doucette, Zach Filak and Ruslan Karimov replied for Sarnia. __ KNIGHTS 4 BULLDOGS 3 LONDON – Sam Dickinson banged home in the game-winning goal at 0:21 of overtime as the Knights edged the Bulldogs. Sam O’Reilly, Landon Sim and Easton Cowan had the other Knight goals, while Cole Brown, with a pair, and Parker Holmes scored for Brantford. Bulldogs netminder Ryerson Leenders kicked out 38 of 42 shots. ___ COLTS 6 STEELHEADS 4 BRAMPTON – Brad Gardiner potted a pair of goals as the Barrie Colts defeated the Brampton Steelheads. Beau Jelsma, Kashawn Aitcheson, Beau Akey and Parker Vaughan also scored for Barrie. Luke Misa tallied twice for Brampton, with Spencer Sova and Carson Rehkopf adding singles. __ GENERALS 7 FRONTENACS 2 KINGSTON – Matthew Buckley and Luke Torrance each had a goal and two assists as the Oshawa Generals dumped the Kingston Frontenacs. Beckett Sennecke, Luca Marrelli, Brooks Rogowski, Lauri Sinivuori, and Ethan Toms also notched goals for Oshawa. Gage Heyes and Riley Clark scored for Kingston. ___ WOLVES 3 BATTALION 1 SUDBURY – Kocha Delic scored a goal and an assist as Sudbury topped North Bay. Nathan Villeneuve and Chase Coughlan also scored for the Wolves, while Lirim Amidovski had the Battalion’s lone marker. Wolves goalie Nate Krawchuk kicked out 27 of 28 shots. ___ FIREBIRDS 7 STORM 2 GUELPH – Nathan Aspinall scored two goals and added a pair of assists to lead the visiting Flint Firebirds past the Guelph Storm. Firebirds winger Cole Zurawski also potted a pair while Evan Konyen, Black Smith and Kaden Pitre added singles. Vilmer Alriksson and Jake Karabela had the Storm markers.
