RED DEER, Alta. – Hunter Mayo produced three points, including the game-winning goal at 16:33 of the third period, and the Red Deer Rebels edged the Swift Current Broncos 3-2 on Thursday night in the Western Hockey League.

Mayo collected a pass from Kai Uchacz on the power play before firing a shot past Broncos goaltender Joey Rocha from the left circle for his third of the season.

Uchacz also scored – his 19th of the season – and Zane Saab added another for Red Deer (16-12-3), which won its third straight game.
