VANCOUVER – Swedish forward Nils Hoglander has signed a two-year contract extension with the Vancouver Canucks, the team announced on Sunday. The deal carries an average annual value of $1.1 million. The 22-year-old Hoglander scored three goals and six assists in 23 games with the Canucks last season. He also tallied 14 goals and 18 assists in 45 games with the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks. The 5-9, 185-pound winger was Vancouver’s second-round pick (40th overall) in the 2019 NHL draft. In 141 career games with the Canucks, Hoglander has scored 26 goals and 28 assists.
