The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive back Rashard Robinson.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Robinson, a 27-year-old from Pompano Beach, Fla., played five seasons in the National Football League from 2016 to 2021.
The six-foot-two, 177-pound LSU product played in 49 NFL regular-season games for the San Francisco 49ers, the New York Jets, the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, producing 89 tackles, 15 passes defended, two interceptions, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
The 49ers drafted Robinson in the fourth round, 133rd overall, in 2016.
