New York Rangers centre Mika Zibanejad, Colorado defenceman Cale Makar and Boston goaltender Jeremy Swayman are the NHL three stars of the week.
Zibanejad registered multiple points in all four of his games (five goals, four assists) as the Rangers posted a perfect week.
He scored twice in the Rangers’ 5-3 win over Washington on Tuesday before putting up a combined two goals and three assists in back-to-back wins over Pittsburgh.
Zibanejad finished the week with a goal and an assist in a 7-0 rout of Nashville on Sunday.
The Rangers are on a 6-0-1 streak heading into Tuesday’s game against the visiting Carolina Hurricanes.
Makar had a goal and eight assists in four games as the defending Stanley Cup champion Avalanche pushed their winning streak to five contests heading into a game Monday night against visiting Chicago.
Swayman stopped all 62 shots he faced in two starts, helping the league-leading Bruins win three of four games.
