CHICOUTIMI, Que. – Andrei Loshko, Maxim Masse and Emmanuel Vermette each scored twice as the Chicoutimi Sagueneens defeated the visiting Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 7-4 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Saturday.

Samuel Vachon scored once for the Sagueneens (21-19-2-0), who were outshot 33-30. Fabrice Fortin, Etienne Tremblay-Mathieu and Fabrice Fortuin each chipped in with two assists for the winners.

Daniil Bourash scored twice, while Bill Zonnon and Anthony Turcotte netted singles for the Huskies (24-13-3-2).

RIMOUSKI, Que. – Alex Drover scored twice as the Saint John Sea Dogs tipped the Rimouski Oceanic 8-3.

Noah Reinhart, Vince Elie, Alexis Cournoyer, Jacob Beaulieu, Brady Burns and Nate Tivey also scored for the Sea Dogs (14-24-1-1).

Alexander Gaudio scored twice while Luka Verreault scored once for the Oceanic (23-18-1-1).

OLYMPIQUES 6 ARMADA 5 (OT)

BOISBRIAND, QUE. – Riley Kidney scored at 16:02 of the third period to force overtime and then set up Zachary Dean’s winner two minutes into the extra session as the Gatineau Olympiques defeated the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 6-5.

Kidney finished the game with a goal and four assists. Alexis Gendron scored twice for the Olympiques (26-11-4-2), with singles netted by Olivier Nadeau and Cole Cormier.

Anri Ravinskis scored twice for the Armada (14-22-4-2), with singles netted by Jonathan Fauchon, Xavier Sarrasin and Justin Carbonneau.

BATHURST, N.B. – The Acadie-Bathurst Titan spotted the Charlottetown Islanders a 3-0 lead then stormed back to post a 6-3 victory.

Joseph Henneberry, Dylan Andrews and Donovan Arsenault each scored twice for the Titan (15-19-4-2). Ben Allison, Cole Larkin and Alexandre Lallier each had two assists in the win.

Michael Horth scored twice for the Islanders (13-22-2-1), while Keiran Gallant added a single.

MOOSEHEADS 6 PHOENIX 2

HALIFAX, N.S. – Jordan Dumais and Josh Lawrence each scored twice as the Halifax Mooseheads beat the visiting Sherbrooke Phoenix 6-2.

Attilio Biasca, Alexandre Doucet also scored for the Mooseheads (27-7-4-1). Lawrence chipped in with two assists as well.

Jacob Melanson and Andrew Belchamber scored for the Phoenix (26-11-2-2).

REMPARTS 3 EAGLES 2

SYDNEY, N.S. – Theo Rochette’s second goal of the game, at 19:53 of the third period, lifted the Eastern Conference-leading Quebec Remparts over the host Cape Breton Eagles 3-2.

Justin Robidas scored the other goal for the Remparts (32-6-1-2). Pier-Olivier Roy added two assists.

Charles Boutin and Samuel Johnson each had a goal and assist for the Eagles (14-23-2-1), who were outshot 42-17.

VOLTIGEURS 3 FOREURS 2

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. – Justin Cote, Maxime Lafond and Jeremy Lapointe all scored after the Val-d’Or Foreurs opened the scoring, then the Drummondville Voltigeurs held on for a 3-2 victory.

Nathan Drapeau and William Provost scored for the Foreurs (18-23-2-0).

The Voltigeurs (18-18-4-1) outshot the Foreurs 40-31.
